Rice
One of Pakistan's most famous rice dishes, originating from the Sindh region. Prepared with basmati rice, chicken, mutton or beef, combined with yogurt, onions, tomatoes, fresh mint, coriander, chilies and a fragrant blend of roasted spices. Known for its spicy, tangy, aromatic flavor and traditionally cooked using the dum method.
Rice
A rich and flavorful rice dish made with basmati rice, chicken or mutton, potatoes, onions, tomatoes, yogurt and a special blend of biryani spices. Saffron, cardamom, cinnamon, cloves and cumin give it its distinctive fragrance. Meat and rice are layered together and slowly cooked using the traditional dum technique.
Rice
A traditional style of biryani popular throughout Pakistan and the wider South Asian region. Raw marinated meat is prepared with yogurt, ginger, garlic and aromatic spices, placed at the bottom of the pot and covered with partially cooked rice. The sealed pot slow-cooks over low heat so the meat juices infuse the rice with deep flavor.
Slow-cooked
A traditional slow-cooked meat stew with a rich, thick texture and deeply spiced flavor. Typically prepared with beef or mutton, onions, ginger, garlic and a warming blend of spices, cooked for several hours until exceptionally tender. Traditionally served with fresh naan or other Pakistani breads.
Slow-cooked
A rich and nutritious traditional dish made from meat, wheat, lentils, chickpeas and other pulses. The ingredients are slow-cooked for hours and blended into a thick, smooth, hearty texture, then finished with fried onions, fresh ginger, coriander, lemon and green chilies.
Grill
A famous Pakistani specialty from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region, made with minced meat, onions, tomatoes, fresh coriander, chilies and aromatic spices. Shaped into thin, flat patties and pan-fried or grilled until slightly crisp outside while staying juicy and flavorful inside.
Grill
Minced beef or mutton blended with onions, garlic, ginger, fresh coriander, chilies and traditional Pakistani spices. The seasoned meat is shaped around skewers and grilled over direct heat for a juicy, smoky, intensely aromatic kebab. Commonly served with fresh naan, salad and sauces.
Curry
A rich and aromatic meat curry traditionally prepared with chicken or mutton, yogurt, onions, ginger, garlic and warm spices. Some variations include almonds or cashews for a creamier sauce. Milder than hotter curries, with a smooth texture and delicate aromatic flavor.
Curry
Made with chicken, onions, tomatoes, ginger, garlic and a blend of spices such as cumin, coriander, turmeric and red chili. The chicken slowly cooks in a rich spiced gravy until tender and infused with flavor. Traditionally served with fragrant rice or freshly baked naan.
Everyday
One of Pakistan's most beloved everyday dishes, prepared with lentils or other pulses, onions, tomatoes, garlic, ginger and aromatic spices. Cooked until soft and creamy, then finished with a tadka — oil or ghee infused with spices, garlic and onions. Served with rice or fresh naan.
